yeah i definitely recommend it, good price and great picture...

the only problem I have found with it is if you play a lot of CDs and leave the screen on, it temporarily burns the image of the CD display onto the screen... so I just turn the screen off when I play music CDs

Yeah, but don't you have to get rid of the little push in tray to put in the actual head unit? That kinda sucks. I would go for the all in one dvd/nav/cd player screen, just can't find a good one for cheap. If you can live without the push in tray then yeah I think it's it's worth it.

you can always put whatever you have in the push-in tray into the center console.

^^^ I believe you save a couple hundred dollars going this route.

I was thinking about getting one of these screens and I was wondering about long term reliability ~ how long have you guys had them?

whats everybody using for a dvd head unit with this screen? I want to do this but don't want to have a separate dvd unit that is only for the screen. I want a cd/dvd hu that goes where the coin tray is that has a nice on screen display, etc. Is there anything out there like this? What do you guys use? Is there any type of navigation unit you can use with these monitors?

The didn't use the microvision screen. They're over priced. I have a Liliput 7" LCD screen. Cost me less than $100 brand new!
The head unit I have comes with CD/DVD/AM/FM/TV-Tuner/Input Jack on the front/In put jacks for reverse camera. Can't beat that! I bet it also cost me less than all these others head units being shown! The pics are blurry because I took them with my camera phone, but the screen resolution is very sharp. I'm about the take it out and replace it with a touchscreen.
