aftermarket fog: has install bolt in center, max has no hole. help?

Okay, I'm getting aftermarket fogs (don't want oem, want useful). The ones that I'm getting (Bosch Compact 100) have the install bolt in the center. There is no hole in the Max in which to place this bolt. What do I do about it? I don't think the light'll fit in the stock fog hole if the bolt hole isn't in the center. Am I going to have to dismantle the front of my car and drill a hole? If so, how would I do this, and how much time and effort am I looking at?

Thanks!

To take off the front bumper, it takes time and patients, due to some rusted bold and other things.
First open hood and take off center grill and headlights
Second there are three bolts near the center where your grill use to sit, and there are three bolts beneigth each headlight assembly, take those out to make easier for later.
Third remove the two front wheels(make easier) and remove the wheel-well cover,( you don't ahve to remove the whole thing, just the front part of it.
Forth there are three nuts on each side where the fender and the bumper connect, (one on top, one in mid, and one near bottom) BOTH SIDES
Last don't forget to remove the screws from below your car where the bumper is attached to the plastic guard.

Then just pull forward, might get caught here and there but nothing big.

I think I hit every point but its like 2am and I'm tired.

i dunno where you're trying ot install them, but what i did was cut out the plastic piece in the stock foglight hole cutout locations. stick your hand in there and feel up top. there should be if i remember correctly 2 or 3 mounting holes int he metal frame thingy. i think i went to home depot and got a 1/4" hex bolt [double check me on this] to hold it in place [length depends on your application]. worked well, but my fogs burned up on me, and too cold since to redo it. IMHO, go oem stock fogs. they look bada55 on our 99 bumpers.

im trying to install them in the default location. i just have those little plastic bars across the holes. i looked up in there, and there is no hole in the center in which to mount the fogs. the ones im getting have a 4" diameter, and that is just about exactly the same size as the hole, so, centered it must be!

It shouldn't be hard if you remove the under gaurds and raise the car up on a lift or something then get under there with a drill.

how do i remove the under guards? would it be possible to mount the fogs to the "bottom" of the hole where the stock fogs go? install the fogs upsidedown, as it were?

i don't understand why you wouldnt have stock mounting holes. we both have 99 gle's. you have to cut that small bar in teh foglight holes (i used a hacksaw and then a file to get it smooth) there should be mounting holes right up top, just like how i did my fogs.

yes, yes, i have the stock holes. i have the ones in the bumper, i have the ones in the metal that the fog mounts to. that aftermarket ones dont use two/four screws to mount on either side of a rectangle bracket. they use a single bolt that needs a hole in the middle.

i guess my best bet is to try to rig something, like MaximaSE96 said
