Mystery Coolant Leak

For the past couple weeks or so my maxima is leaking coolant down the front of the motor and getting worse, but I can't find exactly where it's coming from. It seems to be dripping in between the AC compressor and the block but I can identify the actually leak itself. Is there any coolant lines of some kind that run into the front side of the block? Any help is appreciated.

The water pump is on that side. It may be time to replace it. It is located under the timing chain cover.

I have the same leak, and it's the water pump. Check for dampness around the little black waterpump/timing chain cover. It's located just behind the alternator underneath the belt tensioner.

I had the same leak, stealer said it was the water pump, $700 later the leak was gone. I just didn't have the time to change it myself.

Well I don't have 700 dollars so I guess I'll be figuring out how to do it in my garage. It'll be a learning experience I guess. If anyone has any helpful tips on doing this, let me know, thanks

I paid $550 at one of my local dealers. The first one said $700, and I kept going. There were some shops that were a lot less, the problem was that they did not know much about the car. One shopt kept telling me I had a timing belt.

This is actually not an easy task to do. There have been a few people here though that have done it.
