Megan Racing springs

anyone have these or know anything about them? the reason im asking is because i originally ordered maxspeeds from streetstyler.com but i got notified they were out of stock and asked if i wanted Megan Racing instead. Are these springs ok with KYB GR2 struts?

spring rates are about the same as Tein S-techs, and the drop is the same also.
I assume they will ride like S-Techs, and give you the same stance.

I've never heard of anyone on the org having them, but give them a try I think you'd be the first.

You can buy some for about $104 from streetracing.org but they sound ok. compe***ive pricing I guess $109. I bought S-techs cause these were suspiciously low priced..

Rome06 bought these springs, and he had a problem either with his struts or his installation, I can't remember. I wish he had posted pics of the drop, but somehow is front end ended up significantly higher than his rear. I guess I'll pm him to reply in this thread, and hopefully his has pics.

no i didnt have any problems with the installation but its just not as low as a drop and i expected it to....also the front sits a little bit higher than the rears but that could also be my 2 15's in the trunk with a heavy box, they ride great im my opinion and take bumps very well, and you can defenitly tell that the car is lower just by getting in and out of it and also comparing to a stock max.....but i just got a great deal on ground control coilovers w/ kyb agx struts/shocks so thats going to be my new setup here in about 3 weeks...

Its so necessary.

Tire rack. Mustang front (95) Miata rear (95). should be ~$65 shipped 2 day air.

Go grab some KYB dust boots from the Group Deal. Should be about $10 less than tire rack.

I have had them with the GR 2s for about 2 years and like them. They are a firm spring with about a 1 1/2" drop all around. They handle good with a firm ride. You can get them off ebay motors for as low as $70.

They're goin in my car when they get off ur car so hurry up i wanna drop hahaha

But yeah, they ride really well, of course you can feel that its not stock, but its really smooth. Makes the car look clean as hell too.

I installed a set of Megan springs on a 5th gen about 4 weeks ago..

I wasnt too impressed with the drop, or the spring appearance. It came naked w/ no rubber loopy loops...
