POS RainEx wiper blades (do not buy!)

To let you all know... Do NOT buy RainEx wiper blades. I got a set (26" and 17") and hated them so bad I took them back to Wallyworld today. All they have at Wal-Mart that will fit 5th Gens are RainEx-shi^ and Michelon... I have the Michelons now hopefully not pieces of crap like the more expensive Rainex that were noisy as hell and didn't wipe as well as an old diaper would have. And this is with a windsheild in perfect condition...

maybe they are selling old dried out ones then... because these sucked! Squeaked like hell and didn't wipe. I actually doubt they are selling old ones.. there were two guys getting ready to buy the Rainex's when I returned them so they obviously aren't slow sellers.

Weird... I can't remember ever wanting to take back wiper blades but these truly sucked! Glad others haven’t had the same problems. Must be the high altitude... yeah... that's it

I've heard that the Rain-X ones are nice. I'm personally using the Michelins that they sell at Walmart (same ones you exchanged your Rain-X ones for). They seem to work at least as well as OEM, but I don't know how long they'll last, since I just installed them last month.

I don't use anything other than TRI-Co Factory Replacements. I made the mistake of buying Rain-EX Premium wiper blades from my cousins shop (I payed $12 for all three blades on my Focus) and I hate them. I wish I would've just shelled out the dough for Tri-Co's. Now I have to pay twice for wipers. They squeek and chatter and wipe like crap.

rain x are the best ones i've had so far, no noise at all and does its job VERY quietly compared to like all the other ones at target... )
