Which relay for hyperblinking LED turn signals?

Who has a link to the right relay for 4th Gen. turn signals that have been replaced by LED's? I'm considering this as an alternative to load resistors to avoid splicing into any wiring.

You may have better luck in the audio and electronics forum.

A relay is a relay, and if you want to use one, you're going to have to splice wires.

Whats wrong with splicing wires, as long as you take your time and do a quality job?

Quality is a relative term.

I don't think there is such a relay. Load resistors might be your only option.

I swear I saw one for this specific application but for the life of me I can't remember where I found it. If I'm not mistaken it's a direct replacement for the underhood turn signal relay that is plug-n-play. I could be wrong though. If I locate it again I'll post it here.

I don't want them to blink fast, I want them to blink normal. LED's as turn signals don't work unless you use load resistors or that relay. Without it, they won't work at all.

Wrong, my led tails have been working just fine for the past 7months, I need to get a load resistor so they can blink at a normal speed, but the definately work.

Well mine don't. They hyperblink on the dashboard indicator and do absolutely nothing outside the car. Strange...

LED are polarized, they only work when inserted the right way.

i made custom ones for my friend's car and i just used a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor and connected it to the wires connecting to the bulb. i made it plug and play and they work great. it is cheapest just buying 2 3 ohm 50 watt resistors in series and have one end connecting to the positive wire, the other to the negative wire. do this by buying a splice tap, which is the fastest easiest way to fix your problem. eBay and other sellers sell the load resistors forl ike 7 bucks a pop, just go to your local electrical shop ( not radio shack ) and they'll sell you 4 resistors for 3 dollars. which is a lot cheaper than what other sellers sell them for. if you have any more questions about how to cure the hyper blink thing i can help.

Came up with a pretty simple compromise solution. All my lighting is now LED's except for the turn signals. I just got another pair of chrome coated amber 1156 bulbs like the ones that came with my CE red/clear tails for about 6 bucks. I wonder why they didn't include bulbs with the clear bumper lights as well? They won't have the ugly "fried egg" look of the orange bulb in the clear lens anymore which is what I was primarily after. The ones in the tail lights are pretty much invisible because they blend in perfectly with the reflector. Now all I have to do is find some regular 9007 headlight bulbs that look white and not yellow or blue...
