I was wondering theres a how to been done. I know Dr has a how to on his site but I don't think it helps for a TSX projector. Thanks!

 

Hey maximillien, I don't think many people have done the TSX retro in their housings.. mainly due to their higher cost.. Vinny (VNmaxima) does have a pair of TSX retro fitted in his maxima. I met him this summer with Dr. Roy and his output and cutoff are amazing. As far as I know, the install will be virtually the same as Dr. Roy's write up, with a bit tighter fit. I have boschE46 ECE from a 3 series and they fit perfectly almost. I havent seen vinny on the org in a long *** time though. maybe you could email him using the user directory. If you don't get in contact with him.. try hidforum.com for some tips. If you're wondering whether it's possible it definitely is.. you'll just have to dive in and do it yourself, don't think it would be hard though. Good luck.

The only thing I am worried about is the depth of the proj housing. I know the lense diam will fit the ebay proj hole. Its just the rear and how much customization do I have to do with the jb weld. I have seen many with a clean rear with the JB weld. But since out headlights is almost tight with the engine bay I want to see how much space I have to work with. I seen many great cut offs with the TSX and since they stopped making clear lense comes 06 in the TSX I want to get this started before the price jump sky high!
