Hey org,
my tranny has been whining under acceleration for a short while now so i decided to take it in my dealer, which by the way is not a stealership. The toronto maxima club is registered with them and recieve the highest quality service, not to mention discounts all the time. anyways so i visited them and they're telling me that i need a tranny overhaul because apparantly my shiz is screwed up thouroughly. price quote : $1650CDN. yeah right.
so i'm thinking i have a few options. either replace with another 5 speed, swap to a 6 speed, or as my search concluded change my throw out bearing?
shifting is also very notchy, but i do have the highest grade of Amsoil currently available in it.
