i ordered both the dome LED and the door LED sets from metal maxima. thing is, the 6 leds in the doors are MUCH brighter than the 25 in the ceiling! there was some discussion in the thread in FS about leaving off the resistor. does anyone know whats up?

leaving out the resistor is likely to convert the LEDs into ballistic missiles. They will be really really bright... for about 0.001 seconds, before they explode. I have some pics of exploding LEDs but can never work out how to put a photo here.
