aftermarket or OEM: Inner tie rod boots.

Going to purchase inner tie rod boots. Anywhere particular that has quality made boots? I know the oems lasted this long but who knows when the boots were busted and how long I've been driving on them. Anywhere with better made? or just stick with oem?

Thanks.

Oem on the boots they will fit the best, protect the best. I know what your saying OEM steering rack boots are as much as the innner rods themselves

I'm not looking forward to it, the write ups make it seem like its not that hard, but I already know my big **** hands in the small area will make it much harder of a job. . .

Try using zip ties instead of the wire twisty things they give you. Zip ties where much easier.

^Is there something that I'm missing or are those zipties extremely unnecessarily long?

Compared to the quality of the stock one I took off, this one seems thicker, like it'll last much much longer and less likely to crack. Fit is spot on, snug, as if I don't need the zip ties if I didn't want to. the zip ties are long, which makes it easy to install... I just clipped the excess tails. Much better/easier than the metal wire produce dept twisties w/the Nissan one.
