You can't find the thread because it doesn't exist.

If you'd like to convert the system, EVERYTHING needs to be replaced.
That includes the entire HVAC system under the dash.
The reason - Manual system doesn't have the servos needed to move the blend & air distribution doors and the multiple sensors needed for it to operate correctly.

The easy way to go from manual to auto HVAC is to buy another car equipped with Auto Climate Control.

Somebody did the conversion to a 3rd gen. Unfortunately, the geocities link doesn't work anymore.

There have been people that have done the swap myself included. I know there was a write up but I'm not sure what happened to it. IMO it really wasnt worth it and i eneded up removing it. I went from a 95-97 auto to a 98-99 auto though.

Hey guys! I know that this is an old dead thread please don't bash me for it, but I find no reason to start a new one if this one was never answered. Please help me out with this.
I have a 95 Maxima in which I did a complete 96 I30 interior swap. The only 1 piece that I don't have in my car is the Digital Climate Control.... It bothers the hell out of me since I everything looks nice except the old black manual control. I have the donor car with me. What do I need out of it??
Again, please help me out guys.... Thanks in advance!!
