what would corners look like w/ amber bulbs & blacked out chrome?

im considering pulling out my corner lights and doing a variation of the ae mod that i just did to my headlights. i dont want to do the ae mod to them per se, as i still have the stock corners and you wouldnt be able to tell very well.

what about blacking out the chrome completely (not the glass/plastic)? how would that look when the corner lamp is on?

it looks like blueC and Maxima99SE both have done it, but i dont have night pics of their cars.

alternatively, should i ae them? should i buy the ones from ce/ebay that already look ae'd but have clear glass/plastic?

here's a current pic

thanks!

I just did the AE on mine...its still pretty noticeable IMO.

Here is BlueC's Max next to mine (on the left)...not the best shot but gives you a bit of an idea. I did think they looked great on his Max. I think either way looks much nicer than a stock corner next to an AE headlight.

i think i like it all blacked out! i was able to find more pics of blueC's car with the lights on, and it looks good. i was just worried about a greatly reduced light output. i guess thats the project for my next day off.

is there anything else i should do with it while im in there?

install those little lunar accent leds?

well seeing as they arent really functional lights on the 4.5 gen, im not sure it really matters. just as long as oncoming drivers can still see there're lights there...
