I did a dumb thing. I was adding a bottle of fuel injector cleaner that had part of a paper label around the top I thought I removed.

Well a piece of the label went into the filler tube, and I suspect that it was caught by some kind of screen (although I have no idea what the inside looks like) because it was hard to put gas in the tank afterwards.

Is there a screen and how do I clean it?

 

Not that i know of, it would get caught in your pumps screen or your filter before causing too much trouble.

 

nope, must have been a big label because the tube is over an inch and a half big.

 

Maybe take out your rear seats and take out the fuel pump, to get a look in the tank. Maybe it might be floating around. And for the filter thing, I don't think we have one till to fuel filter.

 

There is a screen on the pump pickup, don't worry about it.
