nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator

hey has anyone installed a adjustable fuel pressure regulator on there ride, I was looking to add a 50 shot dry nitrous kit and thought adding a nismo reguator might be handy. is this something worth looking into or a waste of time and money for the mods I currently have and looking into
car: 96 se
mods: y pipe, flow master muffler, injen cai, drop mod
I am kindy new to this and info will help thanks

With those mods, you should be fine, but wont know until you see your a/f. ... And adjust accordingly, and if you're running out of FP up top like some cars do, then you either need a Fp, or AFPR.... But with your current breathing mods highlighted in red, you wont need it.

without a safc2 or afc controller the fuel pressure regulators dont do anything for are cars right??? since our fuel injectors cant really pump out any more??? or if i put 300zx 330cc injectors in...will it even work? or will I get a CEL light on and the same flow since my ecu calibrates the fuel map????

I think you need to think about where you want to go with this mod of fpr (fuel pressure regulator) and 330cc injectors, because if you do this mod set up, you dumping more fuel through the lines really isn't going to give you much gain unless you are getting forced induction. In that case you would need a larger fuel pump, boost controller, safc2 controller among other costly equipment. if this is your goal then you might want to refer to the supercharged/turbocharged forum.

but if that isn't your goal you are better off advancing your timing and getting an a/f controller (dyno tune first to see if you need the a/f controller) for this is what will give you a more efficient gain especially if you want to stay N/A (naturally aspirated). I don't jack about a nitrous set-up and whats required there,...check the nitrous forum, cant hurt to weigh your options right? i hope this helps you. good luck newbie

thanks this helps me also, I just looking into all options

I know that with the bigger filter and cai and y-pipe and exhaust that I am getting more air in and more air out soo I just thought that maybe I would need to get more fuel in to go along with the air

I have a auto and it boggs alittle with the cai in low rpms, it seems like the computer can not compinsate for the extra air fast enough or maybe I am just crazy

You need an a/f graph to verify that thought.

Then stop getting ahead of yourself and diagnosing a condition that you may not even have.

ok so i have a cai.......i also had a weapon r short ram hi flow that sounds louder but i can barely tell the difference.....hi flow is better at higher rpms and cai is better for automatics and better in the low end....but i heard with a y pipe ur susposed to only have a hi flow or short ram???? is this true??????

Most if not all shops do NOT do this.

It's actually personal preference meaning you can do whatever you choose.
