Gauge Swap 98 into 97 Possible?
Gauge Swap 98 into 97 Possible?
Is it possible to put a 98 (digital odometer) gauge into a 97 (analog odometer)? I don't care about resetting to the current mileage, as long as all the needles/warning lights work, and getting accurate mileage readings. If so, what are the steps? I love the clean look of digital. TIA.

Mileage will be whatever it was on the 98 cluster.

I was going to attempt this project but the only thing stopping me right now is the difference in mileage. I just need to get a function generator so I can add the miles to my 99 gauge cluster. I have the wiring diagrams for both my 95 gauge cluster and the 99, they should be pretty similar to the 97 and 98. I can send those to you if you want. Good luck with the swap.
