need new auto valve body?

My auto tranny has been shifting quite stiff when tranny is cold even if the temperature guage reads normal operating temp after couple miles of driving. It gets smoother after tranny fluid it hot. Some people says that this is normal and its ok but i saw a TSB from nissan about replacing the valve body and the solenoids.

How much will the part cost me and will i really hurt the tranny life by not changing my valve body?

You don't have to change the valve body. I would change the shift solenoids. I did and it shifts better. I did the drop resistor mod with the old solenoids and it would set off the CEL. With the new solenoids it didn't.

Yes I did. You just have to drop the pan and pull the valve body out. Check the stickies for the directions how to do it.
