Changing Bose Lights?

Has anyone changed the color of the Bose hu? I havn't been able to find a thread or comments in the stickies so I thought I'd post this. I didn't know if it would be just like the other LED mods. Hoping it won't be too difficult...

That's what I'm looking for. I'm changing bulbs in my car for a red light interior. But I'm not going to change anything if I can't change the Bose too.

I have to do LED's? Why do all the light mods have to be LED haha. I just want to replace with different bulbs. I don't know enough about LED's to be cutting and soldering ****. If anyone finds a link for a how-to that would be awesome!

For the Bose unit you have to solder new lights in whether you use LEDs or not. Only difference with the LEDs is you'll have to solder in resistors too and position them all in such ways so that they wont affect the operation of any of the controls. Can be a little tricky but nothing trial and error can't fix

Awesome thanks for that thread! I hope I can pull all this stuff off. Looks like I'm gonna need a lot of LED's. How hard is it to change the auto climate lights? Same as Bose=direct soldering?
