True gains from exhaust
Tax returns are coming and I want to do some exhaust work. I already did a Y-pipe and that gave a me a good noticable gain. I'm planning on getting the Cattman cat-back and a custom enterprise test pipe. Anyone know what type of power gains I can honestly expect? I've read that some people say the test pipe will only gain 1-2 hp but I don't believe that for a second. My friend has a 1999 accord coupe v6 and he dyno'd 12hp and 11 ft-lb of torque more than stock with his cat-back and test pipe. Also anyone have any reviews on the Cattman cat-back? I heard caesars and its the best sounding maxima i've heard yet but I think he claims the sound came from the Cattman headers. Anyone have a Cattman exhaust with a regular Y-pipe that sounds good with no ricey sound?
b-pipe is about 2-3 HP ur major exahust gain is in y-pipe which u already have...even headers arnt a huge gain for 4th gens because our precats are int he y-pipe unlike 5th gens....unless ur building a serious NA motor dont do headers....jsut geta Greddy or Cattman catback and spend the rest of the money elsewhere
