http://cgi.ebay.com/50X-New-5mm-Supe...QQcmdZViewItem i am looking at some leds to do a swap for my window switches/climate control etc so i figured i would go with about 50 and i would also get the 50 resistors to go with it -so my question is in this auction there are 50 legs and it comes with 50 resistors -are they the right size resistors to do this b/c last time i ordered this stuff i installed them and blew the leds b/c i think i got he wrong resistors-so please let me know if they are the right ones and also if these leds will be good/bright enough thanks
if u want for tail lights.
you need :
Led's 5mm RED
(radioShack) vavoboard, or some **** like that
soldering thingy.
if u want i want resistors, its up to you.
heat gun to open your taillight. (home Depot)
and i tell you. its not hard is annoying.
u'll spend most of the time soldering.
if you need any help Pm me.

basically where ever the write up calls for.
A climate control LED blew on me the other day and I think its because while the car is running, voltage jumps from 12V-15V+(?) and the resistors i got are to match a 12v current. Im thinking of using a volatge regulator and running all my LEDS off that. Now if i only had time
10,000 MCD is very powerful for an LED, that's as high as I have seen blue ones go (at least 5mm ones). You will need about a 500-ohm resistor for the rear and passenger side switches, you can easily get them at radio shack, which I would recommend, as they are made of much more durable metal.
thanks metal maxima -i really wanted to ask you since you have so much experience with leds.- i am looking at 2 different auctions so what do you think i should go with 5mm 10,000mcd or something lower at about 5,000 mcd? what size leds do you all have in your cars now?
