the window switch circuit boards already have resistors built into them. I just replaced the LED's w/out resistors. A month later and they havent blown yet

I've been told that the 5000 mcd is plenty. That's what I'm going with. 3mm 5000mcd Super Bright Red. I'm psyched...just gotta make sure I know what I'm doing before I spend the money haha.

if u want for tail lights.

you need :

Led's 5mm RED
(radioShack) vavoboard, or some **** like that
soldering thingy.

if u want i want resistors, its up to you.

heat gun to open your taillight. (home Depot)

and i tell you. its not hard is annoying.
u'll spend most of the time soldering.

if you need any help Pm me.

and they won't, you only need resistors on the climate control, and if you're adding them somewwhere else randomly by themselves (guages, vents, handles etc.)

basically where ever the write up calls for.

A climate control LED blew on me the other day and I think its because while the car is running, voltage jumps from 12V-15V+(?) and the resistors i got are to match a 12v current. Im thinking of using a volatge regulator and running all my LEDS off that. Now if i only had time

10,000 MCD is very powerful for an LED, that's as high as I have seen blue ones go (at least 5mm ones). You will need about a 500-ohm resistor for the rear and passenger side switches, you can easily get them at radio shack, which I would recommend, as they are made of much more durable metal.

All 5mm for now. I'll be using 130,000MCD when I redo my maplights. Higher MCD rating FTW. You'll be happier in the long run.
