Can anyone help me fix this problem? My high-flow intake makes a high pitch whistle when first engaging gas in each gear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. By the way it sounds great at higher RPMs and performance improvement is very noticable.

 

this is normal... appears to happen to almost all intakes for the maxima... I know it does for my PR CAI.

Yup this is totaly normal for an intake. My JWT intake does the same thing, you'll get used to it.

 

Whistle along. You'll notice that if you match the tune, you'll get more hp.

 

I think it sounds good, like a turbo or something, I love hearing it!!

 

I thought it was my clutch or something! I was about to ask a question about this noise too.
