wow that is a super general picture. Why not use the stock resonator? I have read that that is the better set up, that the mid pipe just increases intake resonance and doesn't help power.

I've always been turned away from ebay intakes. Alwyas been told it's a waste of money no matter how cheap. You get what you pay for. The intake will probably decrease your low end power and make a louder noise. If that's what you wanted then yeah. But it's not gonna do the same as a CAI.

it will work for now. You can cruise the classifieds and see if anyone is selling an air box/resonator. I know there are a couple of part outs going on right now

Check out this thread. A guy came into a max that was crashed and he's gonna be taking a lot of parts. He might be able to grab the stock pipe/ airbox/ resonator for ya. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=460573

I don't know exactly how much it's worth but I'm sure he'd be willing to work a reasonable price. I mean all he's doing is taking it out of the car and shipping it lol. Check the thread or PM him. Hopefully someone will know how much it's really worth.

Other than just looks and noise, cone intake alone doesn't give any noticeable gains. You don't have anything to worry about.
