I believe you must do your own conversion. I'm pretty sure they arn't made by any companies. VQPower.com has a projector conversion. Check the stickies I believe there are mods in there.

Do NOT put them in unless you have projectors. They look like garbage otherwise.

Check ebay. You will find some that are crystal clear lenses (97-99) that are AE'd that are direct fits on your car. I bought these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...QQcmdZViewItem Well actually I bought the same ones that are not AE ones and they are of very good quality and fit perfectly. Very fast well-packed shipping too.

What are you talking about? He's asking about angel eyes...AE is short for "Anniversary Edition", referring to the black-surround headlights that came on 2001 AE Maximas. Definitely nothing to do with angel eyes.

the angel eyes with out projectors just doesn't fit right. Even tho angel eyes don't fit right unless you have some kind of setup close to the 5.5gens with high beam and low beam being seperate. I thought I saw someone with angel eyes without any projectors and looked just horrible. Wanted to shoot the person driving it and doing that to our maxima and disgracing it like that.

The projector conversion is labeled "97-99 Maxima HID Projector DIY," but this'll work for 95-96 too, correct? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I'm just making sure.

We're kind of getting off topic, but it should work in the 95-96. Not reccomended, though, because the glass lense of them has a pattern etched into it that could kill the beam pattern, plus the lenses probably don't allow as much of the light to come through. I have a '95, but switched to '97+ lights for my retrofit.

I would more so say just do the conversion with the 97-99 headlights and fit angel eyes in them. Looks a lot better and not cheezy at all.
