After further review racing with fogs FTL. He also looked like a subpar driver.

The jeeps in these parts are 3.6L V8's and probably aren't any heavier than the Max, and given a poor driver in the Max, I don't find it so surprising. Gotta watch out for these big metal lumps. I see many Ford Lobos in town with 5.6L engines, that's nearly twice what I have under the hood in terms of capacity, and as we all know, cubic capacity is the biggest item in terms of torque.

WHY? i bet the guy in the maxima WAS running his mouth. I bet he was a 20 year old punk who put everything he could buy from autozone on his car and for that reason he thinks his car is fast. The guys in the video was favoring EVERYONE the maxima raced. They didn't dislike maxima's, they disliked the owner. We may have all felt the same way had we been there.

5.7 jeep.

This guy was bragging about it one day. I said R U SERIOUS! "oh yeah" he said. "it's fast it's fast" talking about he beat z-28's and what not. I said "let me take it for a ride" and he threw me the keys. When i pressed the gas it shattered my opinion on those jeep's because it MOVES!

I've owned many jeeps and yes, the straight six 4.0 will leap out front and run up to 70mph, pulling hard. Torque is great for such small displacement. You get to the 5.2 or 5.9 AWD and you're looking even better. BTW- anyone who runs their mouth is asking for what happened in the video. I wouldn't care what he drove....a jerk's a jerk.

not to go off the max. i owned a jeep, grand cherokee, with the 4.7 high output. that was one sleeper jeep. i know my jeep will take my max anyday stock for stock. also being its only rwd and have 345tq 260 hp with no limiter. i got clocked at 125 in it by a trooper, and that was letting off, when the house caught on fire. don't sleep on those suv. some can put a hurtin us. you better have something more under the hood than stock cuz 190 aint much these days. time to go 5.5 gen. heehehhe then i be put the hurtin on them.
