guys i need to ask a quick question. i got my y pipe from redline and told them it was cali spec. now they sent me the y pipe, took it to my mechanic and he told me that the original y pipe has 3 O2 sensors and the aftermarket has 2. does the cali spec y pipe supposed to have 3 sensors?

 

damn not only did redlinemax take 2 months to send me this but they sent me the wrong one.

 

I think the third one is suppose to be after the main catalytic converter, so it shouldn't be effected.

 

where exactly are the 4 O2 sensors on a 99 max?

 

uhhhh... yeah, im not thinking there are 3 on the Y-pipe, but I could be wrong

You can have a sensor port put in at your local muffler shop. The port is called a bung. I had to have one put in a b pipe. It took about 5 minutes, but they charged me $20.
