ok,so the other day i decided to wash my car and wax it. the next day i notice these white patches on the back of the car. i tired wiping them off but nothing happened. so i wet a towel and tried that. after some major scrubbing it seemed to work. later that day i noticed the patches towards the front of the car but not that many, and then Thank God it rained last night. i was thinking, even though it may sound crazy that the wax was too old? haha, is there any such thing? i have had that turtle wax sheet for about 8 months now. if not this what else????

Sounds like just wax residue. It's normal. I bet if you check in the cracks of the doors and molding you'll have some caked in there too.
