Redlinemax/corey...awful!

OK guys here's the story, its long, but its gooooooooood:

Awhile back,we'll say last august,i put an order in to Corey at Redlinemax.com for the following:
-CF Trunk _$620
-Stillen Lip _$225
-red/clear tails _$160
-cefiro glo door sills _$75
-plus shipping _$20
He sent me the trunk within a couple weeks because it had to be made by ionic dynamics,so the wait on that was reasonable, but then the other parts weren't in stock and he had to order them.I told him it was fine and to go ahead and order them.No word for about a month.Call him back and nothings been ordered.Says he has the door sills and he'll send those out.week later call him asking if he sent those, and he claimed he did,but i got nothing and UPS had no recollection of any package being sent.He claims he was gonna "investigate"...that didnt happen. So now i have a charge of $480 on my card and nothing to show for it.Call him and he keeps saying hes gonna order this stuff and that he'll call me when he does.So another month or two go by and nothing. In the mean time,my maxima was totaled (vandalism). So now, about a month ago,I call him up and tell him to cancel all the parts that were so-called ordered and refund my money. He says "oh what kind of car did you get" I said "s4" he says he can get parts real cheap,so i say with a sigh "ok,let me know what you get on diverter valves, intake and suspension and call me" "ok kyle ok i'll call you first thing tuesday".no call.call him wednesday, and hes not in the office, its someone named michael, who does sound a lot like Corey. So i left a message with "michael" to have corey call me asap so i can cancel my order and get all money back.no call.call him thursday,"michael" again,"coreys not in".i tell him this is ridiculous and i need to speak with corey immediately,"oh well hes in the office but very busy" left another message.no call.finally calling and emailing redlinemax and no ones answering or responding.which is where i am at today.called them not 5 minutes ago and theres no answer.greeeeeeeat.i'm not about to lose almost $500.so Corey,if you do read this, guess what pal...see you in court.

so in conclusion,do not deal with or trust redlinemax.awful business, horrible customer service.

-Kyle

Damn... Hope everything turns out for the best. Months of waiting?? As impatient as I am, its hard enough waiting one week for an order. Like I said, best of luck buddy.

if they dont answer my calls, they will have the biggest lawsuit on there hands. Ive had to do this before with a company and lets just say it went quite well! I got a good bit of money out of them, and well they went out of buisness because of it
Maybe it will happen again, My lawyer got $10,000 out of the portion i won just to show you what kind of lawyer I have. Practicing law for over 25 years, and specializes in scams, and fraudulent activity.

I spoke with corey, he is trying to work with me.
I hope its for real.
also he said he was refunding the .org member for his money because the items were stolen durring shipment.
reason for them not answering calls is they are building a new shop or something .

come on corey. help me out. I need my y pipe asap. and i hope your being as honest as im trusting you are.
im on the phone with my bank right now on hold.

As kyle noted, We originally sent him all of his products. However the the products were stolen from UPS. His tracking number does show that the products were shipped but stolen. So after going back and forth with UPS, we do owe him a refund. I base my company off of Customer service and therefore do everything for my customers. So when Kyle called recently so we could finish the transaction, I told him we could get the parts for his new Audi. However we are in the process of opening a new shop and have been very busy getting things together. Anyone who knows me knows I am swamped right now and have hired extra help. However I am still very busy and am handling things as fast as possible. This morning I had a meeting with a sales rep and our phones were unmanned for a little while. Kyle was taken care of right away.

Backnblack J30 put in an order yesterday which was declined in our system for address verification. So there was no order to be dealt with. However I took care of that today also.

I just got off the phone with Corey. GREAT AND AWESOME GUY TO DEAL WITH!!! A+++
Defanitly about buisness, and customer satisfaction to the fullest. THey are in the process of building a new shop, and sound busy. He is pushing the orders out as fast as he gets them. There was a mixup in payment with my order, but was fixed right up by him personally, and he took the time to call me back and let me know I will have my y pipe friday or monday at the latest!

Great!
He also worked things out with Kyle too. So in my book they are great!

Bragging about how your lawyer got you cash from a deal isn't a good way to get in the good graces of the vendors. Corey is top notch when it comes to the way he runs his business.

I am glad to hear your lawyer is good, maybe he can teach you to spell better....FTL....

awhh so now it all makes sense!!!!

god i was wondering what the hell happened to corey. I'm not really in the same situation as you guys are but its getting pretty close to it. I put in an order of tein h-tech springs and a set of 4 tokico illuminas on feb 2. 2006. corey has said that the order for tein springs were delayed for roughly two weeks.

So i waited for about 2-3 weeks and i finally got the springs that were in back order. but i didnt recieve the illuminas yet and i was assuming he'd ship them all out together. I call corey like 2 weeks ago and he said they were shipped out already and that i'd get them by at least the following week. No sign of the shocks yet. I had wrote 2 emails to corey about how frustrated i am with the service...still no email response. I called today and got the answering machine....

...was getting a little worried about the 400+ dollars for shocks that i ordered from him.. i didnt think i was gonna get them. seeing how corey is now atleast responding to some of the org members makes me feel somewhat better than the last two weeks about the whole redlinemax thing.

I hope this new shop that he's moving into will surely help his future business. If he were to do this again..i do hope that he learns from his mistakes to put his customers first before he does drastic changes like this. This was one great way how to lose customers and to kill the business.

best regard to corey and redlinemax....keep it going!

Also when you brag about how much cash you made and you are still driving a 3rd gen maxima rolling on hubcaps doesn't make total sense.

The only problem I have with Corey is his slow feedback posting. I gave him positive feedback and still had to wait three weeks longer than promised for my springs. Where's my props?

just as some background guys - Redlinemax doesn't carry ALL of the parts in their small warehouse...After his big GD on the h-techs, for example, he was sold out of them...so for people who ordered them recently, they are being shipped from Tein - so any delay is due to Tein's backorders, not Redlinemax....

just a little note not to be so impatient. When ordering maxima parts they aren't always going to be "in stock right now" from anyplace, and sometimes you might have to wait a while - remember, it's not like manufacturers are making a crapload of maxima parts - it's a pretty small market.

Corey is very active in the maxima community and definitely will not screw you or scam you....every once in a while things get mixed up, and delays happen.

Good experience dealing with him here: I bought some brake pads a couple months ago from Corey and everything was taken care of promptly. I got em in less than a week as promised.

Hmmm If you have a problem call and ask for corey, he wont leave you hanging! You probably just talked with a crappy rep that didnt know what he was doing or having a bad day or something.

There shouldn't be the need to. Again hire better workers or something, cuz his representation of his business is not looking good at all.

well when your not getting satisfaction from the customer reps, talk to the manager, and tell him your experiencing problems, and you need to see if he can take care of it, if you didnt call him, thats your own fault, and your fault for not checking up on things, talkin to someone on teh computer and the phone are different things, be a man and call someone next time you should get a better response.

I orderd my y pipe monday or tuesday and got it in today wich is sat. pretty good shipping id say on a y pipe! awesome deal too. I love this y pipe order from them!!
good guys, they wont do you wrong

I've ordered from Corey a couple of times. He's a good guy. Yes there will be delays from time to time but remeber people these are not civic parts and are not widely available.

Thanks D-Bo!! and others for your support. People have no clue what it takes to support the maxima market. Distributors don't keep Maxima parts in stock, and manufacturers don't keep many of them their own shelves. Why? because they feel that Maxima owners don't spend money. My Stillen Reps continue to tell me that they are discontinuing so many maxima parts because Maxima owners don't as a whole spend money. for instance they would sell 3 maxima exhaust a month at 400.00 a piece, but G35 owners and Z owners nuy about 20 exhausts a week at 1100. Their thought is Why support the MAx!!!

Goldtooth WE have Very Many Satisfied customers. Sorry you were not one. what you also have to realize is that when we don't have the part in our warehouse, we have to dropship the item from one of our distributors and guess what, we can not give you a tracking number untill we get one from them. So calling every couple of hours or flooding our email will not help. We get you the info when we get it. O yea and please watch your tone and we can both keep this professional.

Sorry, but it's just that when I want to buy something, I expect reasonable shipping times. Until now, you finally explained the hold-up on your end with your distributors.

in defense of Corey, he does make things right if there is any issues. on the flip side, it does seem to be a recurring theme lately of over promising, and under delivering...that would be the only thing I would suggest working on. from the sounds of it, Corey has hired some additional help and even with that, if you know him, his phones don't stop long enough for him to follow up on everyones demands to know where their part is and what's the tracking number. other than that, Corey is a good guy and redlinemax does a good job at finding max parts and creating new ones. just have some patience and be respectful and everything will work out. PS, call me when you get the chance Corey.

gosh dammit dude...but you know, there got to be a point when the wait just needs to stop!

I still havent seen my struts yet and like how i have been touting all over these forum boards that i've put in my order on feb 2 for some tein H-tech and some tokico illuminas - I keep wonding when they will come, especially if mike and corey do really think that they're helping me out. I've been in contact with these guys for almost 3 weeks now and every single time that i call its always "let me call you back for a tracking number" "let me call you back to do some research" "let me call you back.........blah blah blah!!!!". Its getting really rediculous for me to wait this long for some struts. I plan on doing my own research on monday by calling tokico company straight up to see if there is really a backorder on these struts. when you wait this long, especially when everything has been paid for, things start to get a little crazy to think that your 665.00 worth of parts are no where to be found!

I called corey yesterday (friday) morning for that tracking number again...same response from him but it change a bit "i'm gonna be in and out of the office today.....call us back" <sigh> <hang-up>. I called back but i guess they were closed --> left a message.

So in the end i'm not the one where i just like to sit on my *** and not get things done if there is a problem, I'm actually trying to follow up on this order thats been a huge problem. I plan to have corey call me on monday morning. If I dont get a response from him by monday or anything settled by the end o f next week then I will request a refund for my purchase. I will gladly send back his h-tech springs that i've recieved over 3 weeks ago because they are pointless to me without the these tokico struts. There are plenty of other deals around the internet that i can pickup these tokico illuminas for dirt cheap, probably from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...spagenameZWDVW

-this is one hell of a deal if I can get these for 430 shipped to my door..Its better than corey's deal of what he sold me; 500 shipped.

I completely understand that this is the aftermarket maxima business sector and that most of these aftermarket parts never sell as well as civics. But understand that a business needs to always be a step ahead of its customers if they ever want to suceed. Over-promising and under-delivering is definitely not cool and this is exactly whats happening to me everytime i call these guys. If your going to sell a product, please tell your customers that its definitely out of stock and that it wont be there for a while. This will give them the opportunity to think about their purchase whether than you saying "oh yeah we can get those to you in a few days!" which will sucker them into a waiting scam. Right now, this is by far one of the worst businesses that i had dealt with and the experience that i recieved from corey and company really terrible. I guess i'm gonna find out by monday morning to see if they really are all about customer satisfaction because one of their customers are already drowning and he's running out of air

P.S: Weak!..plain weak sauce!

If you get no resolve this week I suggest you cancel the order and DEMAND your money back. Get the Illuminas off Ebay, they're cheaper and will arrive on time. That is where I got mine. I know what you're going through because I had to wait a month for my springs from Corey as well. I hear his friends, partners, associates compliment him and give him props but for the stranger customer you and I have gotten shafted and it just plain sucks.

Hey Redmax, your PM box is full. Do you guys actually have the Progress sway bar in stock? It's been a week since I ordered and no updates yet, my order doesn't even show up under order history in my account even though my Paypal went through. I called today and someone said they'll call me back....
