Would you guys get this key and get it programmed at the dealer? Or should I just go to the dealer and get it from them?

You can, i got one, not sure if its the same seller or not but looks just like the key i got, had it cut at nissan (they did it for free) and he said programming was $42, they said they might not be able to program it but it was fine, they actually didnt charge me since it was a really simple thing to do. However if you get a new key from them they quoted me $110 for a nissan key programmed(typical stealership) and the best quote i got from a diff. dealer was $87

 

That key costs $20.00. It should work. Also no need to take it to a dealer to get programmed. IIRC, locksmiths can program/cut keys as well.. Might be worth a call to your local locksmith to see how much they would charge for th same key with programming and cutting.

I found a locksmith in my area that came to my job and charged me 60 dollars per key. That's 60 dollars for the key and programming.

The key he supplied is not an exact duplicate of the nissan key but it works fine.

 

I bought a key off ebay and had a locksmith program and cut it. Just look in the yellow pages for locksmiths that work with transponder keys. I also bought an extra from the locksmith as well and it was only like $5 more than off ebay. One thing to remember is that you will have to have all your keys there. The programming process wipes out old keys and they will all have to be reprogrammed in at once.

I also bought a remote off of ebay. It came with instructions on how to program it yourself and it was real easy.

Called the nissan dealer today qouted me 110 for 1 key cut and programed. waiting on a qoute from a locksmith.

 

ok got it done, 65 key and programed. Here in chicago.
