Sounds like a Turbine in reverse when I stop...

Okay, so I got my front rotors turned (theyre Powerslots) and my pads switched out to the Hawk HPS. When I had them turned, even though they were less than a year old, they were uneven. I had them take off the minimal amount, which wasnt much I assure you, but it gave them an even smooth surface. Then I installed the HPS pads. Now, when I stop (its been a week since install) it sounds like a freakin jet engine in reverse! What the heck is that? Is it just the new pads? I just want to make sure it will go away eventually. I know nothing is wrong with the parts, but whats causing that noise?

From what I have heard, Hawk HPS are really loud until they get warm. They probably just need to be broken in.
