I washed my car yesterday, and I noticed the inside of my headlights weren't as clean as they use to be. Is their any way to clean the headlights?

Remove the bulb and wiring from the back and drop cotton ***** soaked on rubbing alcohol in the lense from the bulb hole. Use a long pencil eraser to move around to corners and across face to get all residue off. Good luck.

That was a good idea from WizzaMax. I know this sounds a little off but I have polished the front headlights and they do come out cleaner. Try it one day on one side and you will see the difference. I've been doing it for years and they still look new. I have a 93 and a 99 SE-L and never had a problem. I love my MAXIMAS and keep them very clean, even if it takes me 3 to 4 hours to wash n detail. Do it once every 6 months that's all it takes.

 

Do you do polish on the inside? Or just the outside?

Just the outside. I don't clean the inside because it really does'nt get dirty. As long as you have good seals you won't have a problem with the inside. Just make sure you wash the car first and the lens surface is clean. Let me know how it worked for you. I'm very picky on the products that I use and the methods that go along with it.

NO! Use something good, anything that you will consider waxing your car with. I usually spend a little extra for the good stuff when it comes to washing, waxing and detailing my car.

 

I'll have to try that. I'm going to try and wash my car after the roadtrip over the weekend.
