what are the possible malfunctions with a and 01 5 speed that has the check engine light on or are there endless possibilities?

i second that.. the least u could do is get an obd II scanner and check the codes. or if u dont wanna get the scanner then go to ur local autoshop and ask them to get the codes for u.
