Only thing that sucked on this run is I overshot the stage and while I was backing up to stage the tree started going! So I quick threw it in first while I was still rolling backwards and hammered on it! I sprayed in first as soon as I got traction.. which put me back into having no traction. I incinerated all of first and about 3/4 of 2nd gear. Total mods are: k&n Cone intake, UR Udp, Fidenza flywheel, stage 4 clutch, Warpspeed Y + hiflo cat with a Volt meinikie cat back, and of course NX 75 wet shot. So does this sound about right? Best 1/4 and MPH I ever ran felt awesome and the sound of the tires screaming from 10 till 55 mph put a big smile on my face.

well considering some 4th gen's with no spray run what you ran...no...but then again it sounded like you had huge traction issues as a result which is why your #'s are so slow...

 

I don't think any maximas with my mods minus the spray can run low 14's???
Maybe my mods + ecu and 00vi or mevi is what your talking about?

But with the 75 shot you should be at about 13.6-13.8. I'd say keep practicing and you'll get there.

 

Trap speed is really what you need to look at when comparing how "fast" a car is not the ET. With regards to that, no one with just intake, ypipe and catback has come anywhere close to 101mph. The highest is probably 96-97mph.

 

Thanks Neal. Before I added the spray + Y pipe my best was 15.132/91.24
So I am pretty happy it took a full second off. I know next time I go I will deff hit the 13's because the track was wet and it was very humid out. If my tires could get just a little more traction it would put me into 13's.
I am looking at getting 2 rims and just putting some slicks or DR on them. Any suggestions on rims/tires?
