Today I had a weird starting issue.. The car took a little longer to crank then usuall, idled really rough, then died after about 5 seconds. I could only keep it going if I gave it gas, as soon as I let off it stumbled and died and I got the battery/brake combo warning lights.

I walked away, came back after 30 min and it started just fine and hasnt happened since.

The only thing I can think of is maybe my MAF sensor is going? It didnt trip any CEL though.

 

i had the same problem. try cleaning out your IAC valve and throttle body at the same time. If that doesn't work, get your battery and alternator tested because that ended up being the problem for me.
