This April Fools I went to N.E.D. I got a
new all time best 1/4 mile ET in my little
Datsun.

17.4sec. at 80.2mph

Not quite as exciting as 13.9 @ 103 in the
'68 Camaro but I did manage to get a few
laughs and have a few conversations with
fellow enthusiasts.

Yes... those blown shocks make it look like a wheel stander.
And yes, the Max does remind me of a Cressida, one of the
few Toyotas that does not suck.

Maybe I'll see your Sherwood Green Max at N.E.D. this summer?

 

this is freaking awesome ! my first maxima looked just like this one except blue and get this it was a diesel ? lol ! great photos ! the only possible thing you could do is get a video up of a pass.

 

I have three videos of the car at the dragway from that same day,
two of the being in-car footage. I mounted the camcorder to the
(empty, obviously) baby seat and got two passes before I got told
the tower did not approve of it. I'm haivng my buddy convert the
videos to Quicktime files. They'll be posted soon enough.
