high-capacity ACC wire in dash/console?

I'm trying to wire up an AC power inverter and need an ACC line capable of supporting it (I don't think the lighter wire is good enough). Does anyone know where there is one?? I have a wire from the passenger power seat, but that is constant 12V.

thx.

You could get a fuse-tap from autozone and just plug it in to the interior fuse panel. Thats what I did. Three years and no problems.

Either use the ignition swtich wires, or get power directly off the battery. You may need to use a relay if you need to make it switched.

I needed an ACC or IGN line... I really don't like tapping into factory wiring so I went to Advanced Auto (no Autozones around here) and looked for a fuse-tap, but they only had them for the big fuses. So I soldered a lead wire to a 20A fuse and put it in the empty slot above the power mirror slot. Works like a charm.

If its drawing alot of power.. run a 8guage line diret from the battery and put a relay to switch it on ACC.
