Smaller than stock tire size
Hello,all!
Got a question relating to tires.Right now I have 17 by 8 Konigs on the car.The tires are 215/40-17's.
I know that pretty much everyone with 17 inch rims has 225-235's.Except affecting my speedo(which it does) is there anything else I should by worried about? Like long term problems of any kind.
Thank in advance

If you have 17x8 rims, you should definitely use 235 series tires. Why go with 215's? Your speedo will be off with those and your ABS may even be affected since the two sizes are pretty far off. I don't know about any long-term affects though....

That's what I had figured out, except the ABS part. Will it screw them up?
As far as why I went with the smaller size,-I had them on my previous car,and they were practically brand new.
