scopium = NO ITEM

Sent payment to scopium for a y-pipe. Was told it was in the mail. 2 weeks later his PM has been disabled and he didn't respond to e-mails. Have now filed a claim through paypal. Even though he had positive feedback, this deal was a bust.

he told me to tell u that " Hes in the coast guard and doesnt have immidiate access to internet, if he said he shipped it. he did.. and its wack of you to try to take advantage of him to ask for your money back.. its not in his hands .. maybe u should contact the shipping company."

well he said he sent via usps and does not have any information or proof that he shipped it. Its been 2 weeks and I went down to my office and asked how long a package of that nature should take and they told me 9-10 days. Its been much more then that. If it ends up arriving at my house, he will have payment back in his hands no questions asked, and hell I'll throw in an apology. But the longer my money is out there and I dont have item, the greater chance I'll never see it again. Sorry but I have to protect myself as well.

Listen, I dont know what yo tell you. Its been 3 weeks and I dont have anything. I also have NO information on the package at all. No tracking or anything. I also cannot get ahold of him. I'm sorry if he has stuff going on in his life, thats awesome and I support him for doing what he is doing. But i'm not just going to let my money go and kiss it good bye and not get anything for it. I dont have a very large income, I'm a student and I only work part time. I try and spend my money wisely and I am not just going to let it go without what I paid for.

2 people told you it was shipped and usps just sux's. It took 3 weeks to get something small through usps from only half way across the country for me. If you expected a tracking number you should of paid extra for ups.

2 people assume its shipped. Like I said, if the item comes, he'll get the money, but I'm not just shelling out cash. I have to protect myself.

as per the tracking number comment, I paid him what he told me. How he sent it was up to him, I had no say in it.

I no longer care about anything anyone has to say about this person. HE SCAMMED ME. Right after payment he was no longer able to communicate through the ORG because he turned off him PM's, stopped communicating through his e-mail and closed his paypal account right after he deposited my money into his account. Paypal told me this over the phone after I won the dispute and they had no where to gather funds from. This is ****ing BS. I dont care how good of a guy you say he is. He showed NO proof of sending the item at all and has no way to prove it now. I got taken for my money and thats what happened and I'm pissed off.

i wonder why he closed his PP and email account...i mean really, if he wanted to be a stand up guy, he would assist you in this situation...even if it doesn't get you your money back, as long as you know hes trying to help...then that shows he still has dignity for his customers...

oh well, i guess he could careless for this forum since hes parting out his car...i'm assuming hes going to get another one or doesn't care to mod maximas anymore...so feedback on this forum won't mean much to him

there were a few people here that backed him up, and I just wanted to let them know what happened on my end. Still no communcation and I have since bought a y-pipe from a different seller. Now I have a used warspeed y-pipe for the price of a SS catman. Being a college student it set me back a little bit and things are tight, but theres not much I can do but let people know what kind of dealings I had with him.

part of me hopes he really is a nice guy, and this is all a coincidence and my y-pipe is sitting at his house because of an error in the address or something, but theres no way to really tell. End of the story is, I'm out my money, and it made him look like a skechy scammer.
