The text labels are quite blurry but you've obviously got a "driver information system" on some level.

I don't have this feature in my Maxima but based on this having been a feature in some of my other cars, I'm thinking that's what it is.

I think I can make out an oil can icon, which likely signifies oil life remaining.

I also see an "mpg" label, which will give you just that ... your average mpg.

I can't make out any of the other labels.

There's gotta be a button somewhere on your dash that allows you to activate and cycle through the available information.

160 mph Speedo? You must have an MEVI in your engine bay. Which part of the world is this Maxima from?

I think top left is the Celcius symbol, hence an info screen as mentioned already.

Gotta love blurry cel phone pics...

Now that I can read the labels, I was totally wrong.

Based on the labels it looks maybe to be a Euro Units fuel economy calculator and trip meter.

I never noticed that. Good job catching the details.

OP, did you swap the speedo?

Or maybe the first pic was a internet stock pic?

Although units vary from the US to other countries, math does not.

That unit is l/100km (liters per 100 kilometer) which really can't be anything else other than a fuel economy indicator.

You've got what appears (in order going clockwise around the readout) to be data for "ambient temperature (*C)", "km to destination", "km from origin", "km per hour", "liters per 100 kilometer" and lastly "time to destination" or maybe "destination arrival time".

It's a trip meter. Not sure exactly how you use it but it looks pretty clear to me that it's a trip meter.

Thank you, I guessed theses meanings but the thing that confuses me is I can not reset any of them (I do not mean the ones which of course are not to be reset like the ambient temp and the fuel consumption) they keep on without starting over for each trip, and why do I need Km/h while I have the main meter for that !
I searched for these in some users' manuals and FSM, but couldn't find this kind of display nor switch.
ps. there is trip1 and trip2 meters in the display located in the main speedo under the airbag indicator light (the wide rectangle in one of the pics above)

It's the same as the US 98 and 99 Maxima's/I30s with digital ODOs.

So your these PICs are of 2 different cars, or does your speedometer gage change from large KM readings to large MPH readings? If it does change, could you post a video of it changing?

Try cycling your display to the reading you want to reset. Then HOLD DOWN the BC button until it resets. That's usually how these displays work. I think maybe Km/h shows the AVERAGE speed for the trip since it was last reset.
