The cloud car does 0-60 in 6.8 seconds and the quarter mile is run in 15.2 or 15.3. Thats right on our asses. I like them. I think they look pretty good as well.

Dodge has rejuvenated their performance roots. Let's just hope they don't bring back the Charger or Dart with the 340 Magnum.

Much better looking then the Eclipse that it is based on. If it was out when I bought my car I might have gotten it.

Reliability....

I am not sure about the R/T Stratus but a few months ago I saw either a Stratus or a Sebring (mechanically the same car and look VERY similar)on the interstate being put on the back of a flatbed tow truck! There was a couple standing next to the tow truck and they did not look happy!

I looked at one last weekend. It was a bright red one with black/tan leather interior. I love how the car looks like. The interior is an Eclipse and it has to many hard plastics but I like the design. The one I looked at is the R/T automatic with a price of $25,001 which I feel is too expensive for the car. I would only pay around 17K for it. It looks great, but its looks aren't worth the price. Next thing that I was concerned with was future reliability. I have a friend with a 99' Avenger ES and it isn't exactly the most reliable thing.

I've seen a couple of stock new Eclipse at the track running high 14's and low 15's. That is right up there with the Maxima.

Current owner of a Chrysler product

I can not imagine that Chrysler corp has improved any since the take over by Daimler Benz but I found

Engines --Good
Transmissions --Bad
AC units-------Questionable
Fit and Finish ----Bad
Interior plastics ---Cheap

There's a reason they dont retain their value
