Car shuts down on me... '00VI related

I just got everything to work properly. Vipervadim has fixed my start-up issue, and rpm switch. He's the man. But today my car shut down on me twice on the road. I kept a close observation on my rpm's while driving around 10-20mph and as I let go of the accelerator, SOMETIMES the rpm's would drop below 500. I get scared so I quickly push the gas a little. All this happened after I used a 5th. Gen IACV. Before this, I had a 4th. Gen IACV and it would stall right after start-up UNLESS I held on to the gas a little. Now that I have a 5th. Gen IACV with 5th. Gen TB, I don't have to press on the pedal, it starts up just fine but now the car seems to die on me unexpectedly.

So has this happened to anyone? Anyone know what the problem might be?

What's the idle at? Try to raise the idle.

yea, try too get it up to about 600-750. Check on the bottom of your hood and see what rpms its suppose to idle at. Im just a 3rd genner after all.

cool make sure you loosen the nut first (has thread-lock on it) then lift the throttle ring and turn the screw, lower the throttle ring. start the car and check the idle, the put it in D and see where it is at. adjust it until you are satisfied and then tighten the nut.

i guess the motor needs a tad more air when in gear (automatic) to keep a 750rpm idle. the idle in P will need to go up to about 900, in order to have a 750rpm in D.
