The tale of the tape.......

The Passat is modded with a KO4 turbo, chip, and exhaust. The Max has a Cattman Y-pipe and CAI. Dynorun.021 is the Passat, and Dynorun.011 is the Maxima. I got my a#@ kicked except before 2700 rpm and after 5500 rpm.

Havent had a chance to find out! The last time we met (at the track...you were there!) he didnt have this setup. Im guessing on the street Ill be toast now if we both launch the same.

I'm not very good at comparing performance from dynos (unless it's a lingenfelter stroked 427 C-5 compared to a maxima!) but . . . if you launched well and kept your shifts at red-line you'd have more hp to the wheels once you got past 5500 in first. Looks like he'd get you out of the hole, though.

BUT - the way you launch . . . he might not have such an advantage!

I believe you are putting out a lot more than that dyno shows since you have a true CAI. The cooler air flow coming in as you are accelerating is going to give you more power for sure.
