my factory serv.manual shows in the manual trans sect. to check by lifting car, then, spin each wheel and make sure the other wheel goes same way right?
but its not in the auto trans section?
when i lift my new 92'se (ve)auto spinning one doesnt do anything to the other
and spinning the other makes the other goes oppisite
thanks everybody

Did you put your trans in neutral? I believe a burnout is a much more accurate way to test the LSD, as the fuctionality of the unit is most important under these load conditions. I have no idea what happens when I put my front tires up and try to spin them, but when I do a burnout, I leave two marks.

I didnt know you could really do a burn out in a FWD because the primary brakes are in the front too. I know with a manual its easier but what about a automatic.

yep in nutruel and all other gears nothing makes em spin the same way
drives o.k. until real warm like 5 miles away then its either the engine low power or trans slowing me down i gotta check some things

i also have the 5 speed for the swap and all the other parts
but i had the front shaft bearings done and before i put it back together i saw a damn crack in the case of the limited slip half of the differiential
so thats on hold so far i cant find a lsd unit for sale
internet auto mart?
