A few friends and I went up to the local meeting area Saturday night. This was only the second time I had been there and I couldn't believe all of the people. Almost like those Sandiego street racing videos. Anyway, I only got to race two cars because of all of the people waiting. What I wanted to tell you guys about was this fast a$$ Chevy Blazer that I raced. His truck was the older style, and was lowered with an automatic transmission, 350 ci engine and a stall converter. We raced twice and both times he would get me right of the launch. The first time I revved to low and bogged and the second time I had to to rev up to like 3500 rpm to get enough wheel spin to keep up with him. He had 1/2 a car lead in first to second and 1 car in second to third. I just couldn't catch him!!! I have raced a truck that had a 351 before and I walked him, but this Blazer just had more Ba**$ I guess. Later that night I raced a Honda Civic SI with all the bolt-ons and beat him so I felt a little better. The guy that drove the SI later told me that all of his friends were sure I had a turbo. I told him I didn't and he acted surprised, and gave me props. It's definitely time for a nother mod though. Someday I will get that Blazer I've been tryiny to find out what would be the best hp gaining mod for me to get next. Any ideas? UDP? B pipe? Take it easy! Later.

 

Last night I was behind a 97-98 Grand Am with stickers all over the back and a big exhaust tip. The passenger started waving at me. I waved back, but he kept waving, so I assumed that they wanted to race. I pulled next to them (I also had a friend in my car), both cars going 70, I looked over and floored it. He was so far behind that I wasnt sure if he was racing or not. Then I slowed down and he was still trying to catch up on the side. When they finally caught up, I was not racing anymore and was going about 80, they both gave me the finger. WTF? Sore losers.
