rough idle in gear

I'm getting alot of vibrations at idle(600-650rpms) while i'm in gear. when I step on the gas, the car shudders up to 2k rpms, after that it runs smooth. when the rpms start to return to under 2k the vibrations comes back. that S**t is annoying. does someone have any solutions? Btw, engine mounts are good, plugsm, wires are good, did the balance test. thats ok too.

You have a misfire, it could be a vaccum leak, ignition coil/spark plug/spark plug wire problem, or clogged fuel filter. Start by checking the fuel/spark/air. If those items are present, troubleshoot further,

I had the same problem. Mine ended up being 2 bad injectors. You can do a resistance test on the injectors to see if they are bad. Just remove the connectors and use a multimeter. I fought this problem for a year before I finally figured out what it was... it came and went.

I need some major help!!! I have a 1991 Nissan SE. She has around 192,000 miles on it. It has been in the shop for over 5 weeks. It started with the car "idling out". I took the car to a shop that specialized in Jap Cars. I have replaced 4 cellunoid (sorry for the spelling) and basically rebuilt the transmission. After I got the car back after the repair the car was still idiling rough and low and still idiling out. Running really rough. I took the car back to the shop. The Guy at the shop has pretty much exhausted everything. He has replace the ECG (the computer in the transmission), the o2 sensor, every computer chip and electrical component in the car. He has even gone so far as to replace hoses and the chambers that house the spark plug. His next step is to take the car apart wire by wire. He has narrowed it down to that he knows that it is an electrical problem. Has anyone ever heard of a Maxima doing this. Any help that anyone could lend us would be greatly appreciated. We are both at the end of our rope. I am sure that this is something small and easy that is just being overlooked.
