Ok. I'm ready to sound deaden the wheel wells to stop some of that annoying road noise my max has and i inspected the wheel wells. There is a metal well with another small plastic piece attached to it. The plastic piece is the one i'm interested in removing. I want to make it as heavy as possible so it stops road noise better.
It seems that there is some sort of metal clip that holds it to the metal. I want to remove it but i'm afraid of breaking it. Also, how hard is it to remove and reinstall right and left fenders? as you can tell, i'm very serious about making my max quiet as can be.
Also, i know this is not your subject, but can you think of any ways to reduce my road noise? I already got one of the quietest tires produced.

Thanks a lot for any replies.

Go Get A Lexus

If you really want a quiet car then go get a Lexus. The Maxima is pretty quiet already, but if you're looking for more then get a Lexus. It'd probably be cheaper than all the sound deadening you're trying to do Just a thought Good luck though.
