I got mine from Pep Boys. Think it was in the $30 range. Might want to rethink the hood Bra. I Don't think I would get another. I have it on as tight as I can get it and it still flaps a little. That is only part of the problem. When a little dirt gets in between the bra and the hood it has scratched hell out of the paint. I only put it on after a wash and dirt still gets under. Now I have to leave it on to hide all the scratches. Not to mention that it hazes up the paint after water get under the clear coat. I might try the magnetic type before the strap on type. It might work better. It is a shame, because I think it looks good on the car. Guess I'll just leave it on all the time. Hope this will help!

I don't recommend the bra either. Even if you are meticulous about taking care of the paint it still manages to get messed up. I've tried 3 different brands and the OEM bra is the only one I'd go with if you must have one. Not only does it fit the best it also looks the best. Here are a few places that you can get one from here:

Oh ya if you are interested I have a used OEM bra that I could sell you. There's nothing wrong with it just doesn't look or fit good with the front lip. Just let me know.

Well I think it will I don't think there is a difference in the shape of the hood from your 97 and my 96. I'll ask the parts guy at the dealership if you can hold off. As far as price let me get back to you on just the top part.

Bra?!

Bra's just mess up your paint .. I had permenant damage when it was removed when I got my hood repainted because I had it on there for so long .. I suppose if you clean it regularly it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd look into getting one of those plastic hood-shield things from 3M. They cover the same area, are a lot less noticeable, and don't need cleaning.

The parts guy at the local dealership couldn't tell me for certain whether it would fit or not. I don't see a difference in the top portion of the bra but I know there is a difference in the bottom portion. I'd still be willing to sell you the top part if you're still interested. Does anybody else know if the top part is different?

If it can't fit, I'm interested in it. Since the paint on the front of my car looks like crud anyway, maybe a bra can make it look a little better........

Ok I'll keep you in mind. Are you interested in the whole bra or just the hood portion?

Tell you what. I'd rather sell the bra as a whole unit if you want I'll snap some pics of it so you can see the condition and you can make me an offer. There's nothing wrong with it no tears or cuts but it is used so it's not in mint condition. Just give me a day or two to get my digital camera and snap some pics.

That's a really good price. Courtesy Nissan quoted me $105.95.

Yes you are correct. I'm not sure how it would look but I don't think it would look too bad.

Here is a pic

I'll be taking a few more to see if I can't get a better view. Maybe even one installed on the car.

I have a magnet bra on my 99 SE. It just covers the edge of the hool. It looks great, but I don't know if it will eventually damage the paint or not, since I have only had it on about two weeks.
