AC Power?
AC Power?
I have a fairly new (to me) '01 and it's been great so far - a fantastic car. This week is the first week in Toronto that I've really needed the AC on and I now realize that it is seriously lacking. The air is just not that cold.
Is there a known problem that exists? What are your guesses as to the issue? Any ideas as to how much this is going to cost me to fix?
Thanks, from a newbie.

Same thing happening with my car. It worked fine last summer but now it just seems like its blowing hot air. I like to drive with the windows down all the time just becuase of my system. But on really hot humid days you can't but help to put the AC on at least for a little bit. I'm thinking im just gonna go get the refrigerant (freon) or whatever is in our cars replaced/recharged. As soon as i get it done i will repost.
Hey guys,
I have somehow the same problem. Although I completely replaced the freon in my I30 with 125k. But the ac is not cold enough during hot days such as today.
I know I don't have a leak, I have a gauge and constantly check the presure.
Hopefully someone has another idea on how to fix my ac. Im do not wanna change the ac compressor, screw it I rather take it out and put a sc in my baby.
