i have a $250 deductible on my insurance. im gonna asume its less then that so im just gonna pay for it. then i gotta pay for tint again...bleh

i think the only thing holding the glass up is the tint right now. there is minimal glass in the back seat. i tried finding the bb, but its dark out.

Why can't kids shoot crappy cars? Put a BB into a Ford Topaz instead, you heartless monsters.

I live in SC, and as long as you have comp/collision, a.k.a, full coverage, windows are covered. They are NOT counted as a claim and there is NO deductible to pay out!

Good luck and I am sorry that happened to such a nice car!

We had that happening on our main freeway here ( www.wyff4.com ) last week. Kids (ages 21, 17, 19) were shooting at cars! They damaged 11 cars and injured 2 people! Thankfully they did catch them. I didn't drive the interstate until they did catch those little rats!

Quick thought:

Can the glass coverage, cover the tint as well? Maybe prove that it was tinted?!?!

wtf? go to a junk yard, and get glass for $20-30. it's not that hard to put in side windows. tint will be another $50 (tops). less than $100 for everything.

Given that you have comprehensive coverage though. I had liability only on my old car (since it wasn't worth much to begin with) so I had to pay to have my windshield replaced when it cracked.

Call your insurance company .. questions are free and you might be covered with no deductable depending what you have for a policy.

I had a rock chip my winshield on the highway a year or 2 ago. Called Geico and they had a third party repair the crack FREE of charge! They said since I didn't have a claim like this before they will fix it in good faith.

That sucks dude! It could have been worse - vandals broke the rear window of my dad's Camry several years ago.

In Florida it is state law no matter what you get one free window replacement for the life of the vehicle no matter what insurance you have. Even still after that statefarm here in Jacksonville will replace windows for free even after the state appointed one

Lucky it was a BB instead of two kids at a bar with a cement block like mine...threw it right through the passanger window (saw me leave my bag in the car) But the only difference is he had the worst arm I have ever seen, and bounced it off of the door sill and that in turn bounced through the window. The total for the body work was 1100.00 and my window still doesn't go up correctly....AUTO switch brings it to the closed position then drops about 3 inches where it sits!! Hope that makes you feel better!!! Little drunk BISHES at BREAST bars!
