I've been using the homelink on my '98 SE for about 2 years. Within the last month, I have noticed that I now need to be almost right next to the garage door in order for the opener to get the signal. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Any suggestions as to what is wrong and how to fix it?? Also, I JUST replaced my battery about a month ago. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking that I just need to re-program the unit.....

 

This happens to me on and off. What I usually do now is as I am backing out or pulling in (if at night or whatever) hit the button.
