need help!!! plz.

Well here goes my story. a couple of weeks ago up in the mountains my car got a Battery Light on and then in 2-5 mins it went off. now last week i got it on again along with a Hand Brake Light on. Then again in like 15 mins both of them went off. And finally today both of the light are back on again and don't go off anymore. i tried turning off my car and restarting it to see if it'll go away but nothing. when i start the car and keep RPMs higher than 1100 the lights are off as soon as it drops below 1000 the Hand Brake light and the Battery Light go on again. Does anyone know what might cause that? Maybe some of the wires or a sensor got wet in the engine bay or something like that? Any info is apreciated

Thanks in advance

Alternator might be dead. Have it checked out ASAP.

thats what my father said as well, when i got the bat. light on the first time. but wouldn't it drain the battery still, from not getting the proper charge? because the car starts up good from first crank... well anyways i'll deff look into the alternator. is there anything else that might be wrong?
