Sunroof acting up

Here's my prob.

Sometimes I press the open button and I hear a CLICK but no open. Other times it'll stay open and won't close. To get around it I hit the area where the motor is lacated and then it'll work... I looked at all the solder points, nothing apears weak. Has anyone dealt with this before?

I had a similar problem, turns out the roll pin came loose so it wouldn't release the pin.
yeah that's a lousy description I know, but that's a problem I've seen before.
I don't have my car here to show you the pics.
but if you SEARCH I posted some pics in my sunroof repair thread of a month or so ago

yes, the roll pin on mine was actually sliding out, so it wasn't holding the cable in place correctly, then after a couple of days the sunroof got stuck in the up position. of course that day had a 50%+ chance of rain
but i slid the pin back in and it's all good now
